New World Hotel Yongsan

Pros: Good location Cons: Bed was like sleeping on bricks. Bedding was dirty, wall sockets were loose. Everything was in really bad condition.

Grubby and tired

Pros: Staff were friendly and it was in the area I needed to be for work. Aircon works well. Cons: Dirty. Tired decor. Peeling wallpaper. Everything needed to be replaced. Old mouldy bathroom. No mattress on bed! Simply a box spring covered in plastic with a sheet. Very poor value for money. If I hadn’t been with a colleague I would have left and thrown money at the problem to stay in a nicer place. View from window was the wall two feet away. Stairs were uneven and dangerous. Sofa in lobby was filthy. Christmas decorations left up in May. Would not recommend this hotel. Do not stay here unl

One night was one too many

Pros: Good location Cons: Dirty, no storage for clothes, desk was filled with computer paraphernalia as well as TV. Silver tape was coming away from bathroom, broken sink, mattress rock hard, carpet on stairway masked with sellotape, desk staff who we spoke to in morning coukdnt understand any English when we handed in the key and left for another hotel. Got photos if you want to see. Hotel did contact us as I thought I'd left my purse there, and asked if we'd left, I said the bed was too hard and generally shabby. Also chunk out of bath.

Nice staff and very accomodating .

Basic hotel, nothing fancy but very clean and large rooms. Beds felt stiff (nothing like cushy American mattress), but to my surprise very comfortable and I have neck issues. Slept well there. Because hotel was so clean , I didn't care for any amenities. thank you.

Pros: the proximity with public transportation and busy areas. Cons: the language. the staff was not speaking much English
