Great stay in a big city like New York
Pros: The location. Cons: It is an old hotel
Loved our stay at the Nikola Tesla hotel
Pros: We booked this hotel in particular because we are from Serbia and we wanted to stay in the hotel where Nikola Tesla lived. So it holds some sentimental value for us. It was next to our station, so traveling through the city with bulky luggage was avoided. That's a big plus. When we checked in, I asked the staff if I could get an open view and because it was available, he was able to accommodate our wish. That's nice. Generally, the hotel is clean and well positioned, the metro, train, and buses are literally downstairs. Cons: It's probably an American thing, but nowhere else in the world
All in all an okay hotel, clearly the location and the overall experience of the place count as advantages.
Pros: No breakfast at the hotel, therefore no review, super good location, quite fantastic to stay at an art deco hotel. Cons: For example, the floor carpets have seen better days, a bit too much patina in the hallways.
Pros: Location Cons: Small room and no services
