Great "feel like a local" stay in Brighton

Pros: Great location on the edge of the lanes. Quaint homely feel inside. Cons: Some noise from people walking along the pathway outside. The glow from the street lamps and post office sorting centre directly opposite.

Fab location but just a few little things...

Pros: Loved the location, great for exploring North Laine area and everything we wanted to see was within 10-15 minute walk. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great and it was nice to have a secluded outside area. It was a very cosy home from home. Cons: Unfortunately the seagulls kept me awake on the first night and I didn't get much sleep, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't sort out! You have to expect some noise through original windows in an old cottage. Day of departure I was struck down with what we think may be food poisoning, and could have been from the water from the kitc

A perfect little cottage for a few days in Brighton right in the heart of everything.

Pros: The cottage was perfectly located at the top of the Laines and very close to the train station if needed. The cottage was pretty and very comfortable for our 2 day stay. So easy to get all the great shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. 10mins to the Pavilion and the seafront. Beds were really comfy and the rooms were gorgeously decorated with enough storage space for our stay. Cons: the stairs were a little steep for my dad (82) but he got used to them eventually. TV channels could be better, although there was netflix etc we could not find BBC1 or ITV for general TV and news.
