A Good Place to Stay near AMS center

Very much up to the standards of the Novotel brand. Check in staff was very gracious. Since I arrived at the ungodly hour of 8:40am they were happy to accommodate me for an extra €) 50 which I was more than happy to pay. The breakfast at € 28 was well worth the cost. I ate there three mornings straight and was not disappointed. Eggs cooked to order. Excellent fresh loaves of bread (croissants are not that fresh). Room was clean. No facecloth in the bathroom. Only shower gel and shampoo dispensers, no conditioner. Internet was a bit unreliable one evening. Restaurant is a bit pricey

Near the metro but a regular clean standard Novotel outside the city

Pros: Clean, tidy hotel. I had stayed at Novotel before, the standard was good. Cons: I arranged it specially because there is free parking, but the parking was paid and expensive, 25 euros per day. It would be better if it was free. I made a bureaucratic request from the receptionist. They said they would take care of it when I checked out. The receptionist at the time of my check-out said he could not fulfill my request in a harsh manner and did not bother. I got a little upset but there was nothing I could do.

Pros: It was clean, spacious, and bright. The renewal of the waters, regular cleaning, the surroundings of the hotel, and the park right across were very nice. Cons: The location was very nice in terms of the surroundings but a bit far. It is easy to go back and forth with tram number 4, but of course it creates an extra cost
