Very modern, clean rooms, and nice atmosphere

Very modern, clean rooms, and nice atmosphere. Only problem was staff. Mostly lack of. Had to wait a while because no one was there for check-in. After 10-15 min other (friendly) staff member checked us in. Other minor issue was taxis. Staff will not order them for you. You have to do this yourself. Although it's not a problem I never had to do this in any hotel I've been to.

Lovely helpful and friendly staff

Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great location with walking distance of the train station and city centre. Would highly recommend

There are some great Positives about Novotel Ipswich

There are some great Positives about Novotel Ipswich. It’s nicely situated with the town centre (and restaurants) a short walk one way and the waterfront a short walk away the other way. The staff in the hotel are friendly and reception was welcoming. Cannot comment on the food as didn’t partake. Breakfast if pre-booked was £15.95 pp. there are options nearby instead. We had a room on the car park side of the hotel which, whilst not a great view, was at least quiet. The opposite side is by the inner ring road and may be noisy. The car park has signs indicating that it’s £20 per 24h to park. If

Ideally located hotel for town centre and station. Room comfortable and very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good.
