Nutshell Cottage

Would stay again when in the area.

Pros: Nice BIG beds and the location was great. Cons: The hot water is dangerously hot. Way above 65C that is usually recommended. The shower heat control in the en-suite needs looking at as well. It does not adjust the temperature correctly, it appears to be unable to make the temperature colder. We managed but the water was still hot when using the shower. I think there might be a screw missing but I’m not a plumber. I think you should get someone to look at both of these things.

Lovely, well appointed cottage in the heart of Lymington. Would definitely recommend

Pros: Very well appointed; lovely lay out; great location right in the heart of Lymington. Very comfortable beds and lovely garden area as well. Cons: There was nothing I didnt like about the cottage. Parking is only 2 mins walk away but max duration for parking is 20 hours before you have to move to another car park. Didnt cause us an issue but I suspect it could be inconvenient for some

Exceptional

We had a lovely relaxing break at Nutshell Cottage. Ideal for visiting the New Forest and the coast.

Pros: The location was good especially for local shops etc. Although lack of parking for more than an hour outside the cottage meant a bit of juggling the provision of two permits for the local car park was very helpful. The cottage was cosy and well equipped. Cons: We had a bit of a problem with the temperature setting on the ensuite shower but I let the agent know in the hope that it could be remedied for the next guests.
