Pros: For a very reasonable price, Oaks Melbourne Southbank was a delightful stay. I was very impressed with the staff, facilities and the room well exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, a short walk to the Yarra Promenade and very easy to navigate when driving further afield. I look forward to staying here again. Cons: The bedroom window didn't close properly, though the staff have noted and will fix.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Heating Not Provided Despite Repeated Requests

Cons: Our stay at the hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly given the cold Melbourne weather during our visit. The temperature outside was around 8–10°C, with rain and strong winds, yet there was no heating provided in our room on the first night. What made the experience worse was the way our repeated requests for a heater were handled. After the first night, when I informed the receptionist that we had not been provided with a heater, she was genuinely surprised and said, “Oh! You didn’t have the heater in your room?” We were then told that we could go about our morning plans and

Great place close to city and train station

Pros: Great location, close to the river and flinders street station, room had everything we wanted, staff were helpful and friendly. The room we had was spacious and clean. Cons: The lift was a little slow and the noise from the neighbours slamming their door.

Cons: we had emailed to check in between 1-2 and they emailed bback saying they would try instead when we got there at 2pm we still had to wait foe our room which was annoying,
