Oaks Melbourne St Kilda Road Hotel

Best value for $ and an immaculately clean and comfortable stay!

Pros: Most comfortable bedding I’ve ever experienced in a hotel! I’ve never slept this well when away from home! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Love that it’s also within walking distance to south yarra. Would definitely stay here again! Cons: If I have to pick on something I would say the bathroom sink is a bit small and I couldn’t help but get water everywhere whenever I used it. But it’s not a real problem and did not affect the enjoyment of my stay at all.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in a good location with helpful staff.

Pros: Staff were very accommodating and the cafe was handy. We also appreciated a bathroom that didn't steam up and a shower where water wasn't spilling over onto the floor. Cons: A bit short staffed at check out time resulted in a long queue. The check out process seemed to take longer than necessary.

Studio for a single traveller/business

Pros: The location is convenient to the city & conference venue I was attending for 3 days. It has all the cooking facilities - hot plate for quick breakie, coffee pod machine, dishwasher& full fridge. Bedding was comfy & staff are all helpful. Cons: The room probably could do with repainting to freshen up as the exposed grey concrete ceiling makes the room feels small/short, facing a concrete wall if next building. Fluro lightings can be upgraded to LEDs.

Was ok but room really needed some maintenance

Pros: Location was good Cons: Paying extra for parking exhaust in bathroom not working cooking utensils not existent not enough wine glasses only 1 supplied

Pros: Great having a tram stop out the front of Oaks, on St Kilda Road. Was an easy way to travel around and access the city. Cons: * The shower door doesn’t close properly so the bathroom floor becomes a pool of water, unable to drain away, had to soak up with towels every time. * The toilet constantly leaked, at the base on left hand side. * The A/C difficult to turn on as the remote was damaged. * The bed linen was never changed, when I mentioned this to staff at check out.. they then informed me I had to pre organise that & pay extra for that basic service. * Noticed the receptionist
