Disappointed in this hotel

Pros: The hotel was ok but the staff on reception were not very welcoming. The bar staff were good. The lady in charge of the restaurant was very good. Welcoming, helpful and very attentive even though she had a big party of Americans dining she looked after us very well. Cons: Reception staff were not great. Other staff did not speak. The room was ok but not as clean as it should have been. Dirty curtains, mould round the air con and heating ducts. Only herbal tea and coffee in the complimentary drinks tray. No breakfast tea or black tea. Towels very poor and worn.

Pros: Hotel is in a good location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms were nice. Cons: Hotel advertises itself as having two swimming pools and a gym with a sauna. It was only upon arrival that we learned that it would cost 20 euro every time we wanted to use those facilities. That is ridiculous. Paying guests should not have to pay extra for use of the hotel facilities.
