Pros: One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Incredibly comfortable room, with a magical view of the Douro. The entire hotel is an architectural masterpiece. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star (fingers crossed for them!), do not hesitate to dine there! Fabulous breakfast. Cons: Nothing

Pros: Service and cleaning were excellent. The view is wonderful. Cons: Finding a good restaurant in the hotel area is almost impossible. This leaves you with the option of dining at the hotel at a VERY expensive cost. The hotel lacks a beach where guests can swim, leading to traveling to nearby beaches.
