Home from home, loved it.
Pros: This is truly a ‘home from home’ accommodation. Tim, the owner is friendly, warm and welcoming and it was so lovely to meet Louie the dog and Midnight the cat. The bed was really comfortable and the room clean with a kettle, tea and coffee. There is a sink in the room and although the bathroom is shared with Tim, he is flexible as to timings for use. The breakfast was delicious with bread/toast, jams, Marmite, various cereals and granola, cold meats and fresh fruit. Although the breakfast is set out in Tim’s kitchen he is very respectful of guests’ privacy. I would definitely stay again.

I like that the owner was very friendly and welcoming
I like that the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and very spacious. Was very easy to get too.
Pros: Clearly I was the only guest (only one place laid for breakfast). Simple breakfast but more than sufficient. Quirky house, quiet (except for the yappy dog, who stopped barking the moment I stepped through the door!). Helpful host, always nearby but not intruding. Ample space and comfort, good for the price. Super shower in shared access bathroom, but this was not contended (I had it to myself when I needed it!) Town in walking distance, as is the cliff top and beach promenade. Location good for all North Kent coast, and Canterbury. Highly recommended.
Cons: Yappy dog was an interesting w
