Lovely pub with kind, attentive staff. Would stay again in a heartbeat
Pros: A lovely old pub located on the main road through town Cons: It would have been quieter had it been a block farther back, but noise was never a problem for us
Disappointing Stay.
Pros: Centre of village Cons: Alongside a main road, with road works outside bedroom window. Property was tired and could do with TLC, particularly as we were supposed to be staying in a deluxe room. Was overpriced for what it was.
Pros: Only stayed one night left before breakfast so limited as checked in after 10 pm Cons: Breakfast being from 8 am. To be fair I knew this was the case when I booked and no their fault
Comedy of errors
Pros: The staff were all very friendly Cons: It was a comedy of errors: we had a 12.30 check-in but the back office forgot to tell the front office; while we waited we ordered and paid for soup of the day except there was none left; the TV remote did not work; next day they bought a remote except the TV only worked for 20 minutes before it stopped: we were both going to have Fish & Chips except there was only one piece.
