Annoying for maintenance work
Pros: Being in the middle of the mall Cons: I didn't like the noise of the roadwork and drilling, it lasted for 3 days. Although my room was an executive king, they should have changed the room to the opposite side for less noise.
Great hotel even after all these years
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff, great location, great in-room amenities, and the air-con works well. Uncommon stuff like the bathtub (immediately bought a bubble bath bomb from Lush in the adjacent mall to use!) and iron & board (needed to iron my dress for the wedding dinner). Cons: I like a soft mattress, so I found the mattress too hard for my liking. But I understand this is very subjective.
