Great area for walking and exploring.
Pros: Great location, Ballater is a lovely town. Shopping, restaurants, pubs and walks all within walking distance. Cosy cottage with everything you need, including great outdoor space. Best shower of the three week trip. Cons: The bed is terrible, it’s only a double, so on the small side. And it’s swayed, so you spend the night clinging to the side or jumbled in the middle. The outdoor furniture needs an update, very tired.
Lovely place for our 2 night stay..great location and quiet
Pros: Location and quiet Cons: O wi-fi
Pros: Perfect for a weekend break away
Pros: Perfect for a weekend break away. Good location and cosy. Cons: No WiFi and leather sofa isn't ideal.
Lovely place to stay
Pros: We loved almost everything about this little cottage. It was well equipped, very clean & comfortable, and the location within Ballater was great with loads of pubs and cafes in walking distance. Cons: We were quite surprised by the lack of wifi - it wasn't a problem as we had packed a couple of books to read and the phone signal was still good, but it would have been good to know about it in advance.
