Good budget hotel.

Pros: The Park is a great budget hotel in a convenient location for the train & parliament end of Wellington. Te Papa and Courtney place are just over a 1km walk. Access to both Lampton Quay and The Terrace from the hotel is convenient. The room was small but functional and had chairs, a coffee table and a basic kitchenette. If you are just wanting a place to sleep, prepare breakfast (or a very simple meal) on a budget I would totally recommend The Park. Cons: Whilst the room was a very reasonable price, the onsite parking was expensive. (I understand that in the central city space is at a

Great value for money central Wellington

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was awesome, entrances on both The Terrace and Lambton Quay. Shower was amazing. Being ten floors up, there was no traffic noise. Cons: The room was small but excellent value for money. Although there was cooking facilities, there was no dining table.
