On the whole it was very clean, food was good, staff excellent, had to ask for another room, I thought I’d stepped back in time 30 years, it wasn’t what I had seen online!! I was so disappointed, I wasn’t going to say anything, as I was only there for one night, maybe because I was a single person ? But I decided to say something and the receptionist put me in an another room, so far superior to the last one! Which I really appreciated ! Lovely and clean etc and comfortable!
A time capsule to better days
Seaview room was very nice. Stayed in a solo room with an ensuite. Room had a kettle, clothes storage and a bed. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was like a time capsule to the 70s. Not very modern and quite small. Breakfast was included in the stay and I had the full breakfast each day. It was a great way to start the day. Parking on site is £10 a day There was £50 deposit for breakages per night too that I was surprised with on my check in. Of an evening the entertainment was nice, usually bingo followed by cabaret. The staff at the hotel were lovely and they have 2 bar
