Great value for money

Pros: Exceptional quality and very clean Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel

Fit for a king

Pros: The hotel room was beautiful and the hotel is stunning. We would recommend and another stay is already in mind. I especially loved the historic features beautifully maintained. Cons: The history especially the way that the original features are kept.

We had no windows in bedroom or bathroom and the bedding was dirty.

Pros: It was in a nice location Cons: The room we stayed in had no windows in the bedroom or bathroom so it was really uncomfortable and claustrophobic

Pros: The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms themselves were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The location is central and very convenient. Cons: When booking it would be helpful to let the guest know that they would be booking basement rooms. We didn't know this would be our accommodation until we arrived. Having as our view the tires of the cars parked by our window was less than pleasant. Also the check out of 10am on a bank holiday Monday is too early, particularly as there was a loud event going on at the hotel that didn't finish until just after midnight.

Breakfast good, the room was fine.
