Great location, but the property needs refurbishing.
Pros: I chose the hotel for the location, which was perfect for the Cheltenham Literary Festival. The staff working in the restaurant were friendly, helpful and courteous. The bottles of water were much appreciated. Cons: The room on the first floor was shabby, the sheer curtain ripped, it was difficult to get hot water in the shower, the makeup mirror in the bathroom much too high to be useful to a 5 foot 3 1/2 inch woman. The carpet should be replaced. The view was of all the air conditioning units above the ground floor.

Great location, poor facilities
Pros: The location was perfect and had parking Cons: The hotel is dated and really needs a refurb. Clean but facilities are poor for the price. Rooms too hot and heating not controllable.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Pros: Location was great and very central to everything. Staff were very efficient and breakfast was lovely. Cons: Rooms were too warm. Bar was at the back of hotel , very dark and lacked atmosphere

We were only there for one night. Location was superb for visiting shops & close to gods restaurants.
