It was fine, but nothing exceptional.
There are at least four Quest Hotel locations in Wellington CBD. They are all quite different from one another. This is about the one located at 33 Hunter. The location is ideal for tourists. Halfway between TePapa Museum which is on the waterfront and the Parliament building, it is within a block of the Red Cable Car which takes one up to the Botanic Garden and the free shuttle to Zealandia. It is about a block from the Airport Express Bus Stop. There is no need to hire a car. Driving around the CBD is much more cumbersome than walking. 33 Hunter is an old building. It has beautiful wood pane

Not Worth the Money – Very Disappointing
We paid over $700 for two nights expecting decent, comfortable accommodation. Instead, we got torn curtains, mould in the shower, a broken heater, and a drab, outdated room with mismatched furniture. Street noise was constant due to single-glazed windows. Staff were polite but didn’t acknowledge how unacceptable the room was for the price. Overall, very poor value — there are much better places to stay in Wellington. Would not recommend.
