Holiday in central Durham

Location very central. Excellent breakfast including Gluten free options on toast and eggs. Lovely big pool and pleasant area around it. Parking close-by.

Pros: A lovely clean hotel, modern and comfortable. An excellent location. Nice to have a pool and steam room. Cons: Service charge on every drink when going to the bar

A very good stay in a great location

Pros: The hotel is right next to the beautiful river. Right in the centre of Durham and not far from the train station. Very comfy beds. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Spacious rooms. Came here for a work function and it was great. Cons: Nothing

Great hotel, highly recommended

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable, especially liked the sitting area by the window - it was excellent for relaxing and enjoying the view. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and great to have a laugh with. Possibly the best hotel gym I have seen. The pool was also very nice. Overall, a great hotel, very clean and just minutes away from the city centre. Cons: Nothing really. It's not the cheapest option but certainly is worth the money.

Really enjoyable

Pros: Everything about my short stay would encourage me to return. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. Cons: Perhaps instructions on how to work the television would have been helpful
