I brought 3 business guests to Rainhall as I told them it was really good. We went for dinner at 2015 and were told we could only have Spicy chicken or Fish and chips. It was rushed and unprofessional. The barman told us it was due to the new menu starting on the 1/10/25 Then breakfast the next morning was badly understaffed the poor girl had far too much to do and we spent longer than we could afford to wait for tea, coffee and a full English. I use this hotel myself but felt rather let down after singing it’s praises to my colleagues who were there for the first time

Pleasant stay.
Hi I’d like to add hopefully some helpful comments. We were in Room16, a large room with high ceilings, it only had two wall heaters and only one seemed to be working so the room was not very warm. The tv was mounted on the wrong wall as it was on the wall alongside the bed and could not be viewed comfortably while in bed, needs to be on the wall across the base of the bed. There are plenty of power points in the room but no bedside lamps so have to get out of the bed to switch the lights off or on. The bathroom has a hydro/jacuzzi bath which is very nice but could not be enjoyed as the bath
We stayed 2 nights to visit Liverpool. Each day there was a wedding. Fine, but the noise did go on. On Saturday it went on after midnight. A real no-no Hotel looks tired
The majority of the hotel was booked out for a wedding as there is a function room at one end of the building. One of our party was placed in a room very close to the event and the noise and strobe lights were such that sleep was impossible. Disappointing given after a long day of travelling that is why we had booked a hotel room. Unsure why people not associated with the function were placed in rooms right next to it when the opposite end of the hotel was slightly quieter. Hotel was full so no alternative room was available and while desk staff were apologetic this wasn’t much practical help.
