Perfect for work or short stays

Pros: Ease of access from the motorway, Large spacious rooms, mine had a bath and shower Large car park and grounds to wander around Cons: Could be noisy with loud banging doors and people standing just outside smoking and chatting No fridge to keep drinks and food cool

Good, comfortable location next to M11.

Pros: Location close to M11 and Madingley Rd park&ride. Cons: Lack of a decent breakfast offering. A big change from our last stay, admittedly more than 5 years ago when the Dining Room was fully operational.

It was very hot at the time of the visit and the room was stuffy with no air-conditioning which is not unexpected but might be borne in mind if visiting during hot spells. There is a swimming pool available. Cons: There isn't much of a staff presence, just a receptionist and cleaners. This is probably because no on-site eating facilities are available. There is a decent pub about a 30 minutes walk away across well signposted and attractive field, meadow and woodl
