Second stay. Just as great as the first. Ideal location to do almost anything on the island (and get in/out of the 3 airports). Rooms are nice. Great AC. Great shower. Desk to work. Floor to ceiling windows. Great staff. What more can you ask?

Pros: The Chelsea location of the Renaissance Hotel is terrific. It is close to everything. Cons: The Carne Restaurant is a hidden gem. The food and the service were superb. We especially enjoyed the salmon entrees and the Caesar salads. The bar in the reception area on the first floor is also very welcoming. It is located in the busiest part of the hotel, providing plenty of opportunities for people watching while sipping your favorite libation. A nice surprise: We arrived during an intense heat wave. I was impressed that the hotel was encouraging guests to help themselves to free bottles of

Pros: The location was convenient for where we needed to be. Cons: Staff were average, room was just ok. Have to pay for wifi. Could never get a connection. Area around hotel is not very nice.
