Enjoyable stay. We will stay again if the price is affordable.

Pros: Location, bar/restaurant, hall good with characterful history. Service good. Room pleasant and clean. Cons: We like the room but if bedroom was larger with a view, or room price was less, that would have been good of course!

Pros: The hotel is quintessential old worlde Cons: Looking for a night cap after our evening out but the bar was closed. 8 other people arrived at the same time looking for the same service, it would have been nice to have a drink in the nice foyer area. Room service utensils from other rooms were in the corridor the whole time we were there, not a good look or feel. The receptionist who checked us in was very disinterested in us and rushed through her process with us and I had to ask her twice what she was saying.
