Would definitely stay here again in a future visit
Pros: Breakfast was a great selection. Seating was great. The king room suite with a full refrigerator was great. And the fact that there is much cheaper parking lot just up the street was very nice as well. Cons: The underground parking - those cement pillars and tight spaces, they're no joke. Other than that, I can't say that there was anything else.

F this place. I had a normal experience in May when I was back here for work, but then rebooked for July since I was told by my workplace that I would need to come back again. Well, 2.5 weeks before that return-to-office date, it got cancelled. I tried calling in to cancel my room. They said I was rebooked at the cheapest rate, which carried a cancellation risk because there were no refunds if the cancellation wasn't within 24 hours. I said that I had taken that to mean the same thing as it has always meant for 45 years of my life...that you lose your money if you don't give them 24-hours
First time here — favorably impressed!
I wanted a hotel close to the Reagan-National Airport and this fit this bill. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a small lobby bar — small bites only for food — with a fun and personable bartender!! It was a nice experience for business travel.
Will return to this hotel!
While the room is a bit smaller than other Residence Inns I've been to, the bed was extremely comfortable, the seating area for breakfast was spacious and comfortable, and the location was great - walkable to restaurants but yet in a quiet location. Shout out to Jocelyn for making our stay just a little bit more fun!
Try another Residence Inn if you're visiting Old Town
I stayed 5 nights at the Residence Inn at Carlyle and it was quite disappointing. This hotel doesn't match other Residence Inn hotels I've stayed in and is more expensive because of its location near Old Town. The room was dirty, we saw some toe nail clippings on the carpet near the sofa, indicating they don't vacuum the carpets. This was confirmed during our stay when housekeeping 'cleaned ' our room midway through our stay and they didn't vacuum the carpet. The room was also poorly maintained and repaired.
