I highly recommend u
Pros: It was quiet, which I appreciated after a long exhausting flight. It is an historic building in an historic town. The host was very accommodating to my late arrival. Cons: Turning the shower on, off was tricky as it has two independent taps.

Pros: The laid back comfortable nature of Richmond. If you want nightlife and crowds and shopping go to Hobart. If you want peace and quiet and wildlife viewing and convict history and numerous vineyards and wine cellars stay in Richmond. Cons: We weren't in town during the opening hours for the Poo Museum so we missed out on being able to go into the museum and get the straight s#&t on poo! But we have a good reason to come back and we intend to.
