Pros: Privacy location and the host genuinely made me feel welcome. It's always nice when the host engages with you Cons: Nothing at all, loved the wee breakfast area toon
Satisfactory.
Pros: At £75 p/n for 2 people it wasn't an expensive place to stay. It was OK for where we needed to be in Cumbernauld for one evening. The owner's mother was very pleasant and the dogs were friendly. The bed was comfortable. Cons: On arrival the room was pervaded by a stench of bleach and other cleaning products - we struggled to ventilate the room enough to make the smell fade. Somewhere to sleep.
Pros: Lovely location, quiet, rustic, bed comfortable. Clean breakfast was a ‘help yourself’ affair which was fine by us, just the area was cramped. Cons: Dull, lighting was poor. Could do with freshening up.
Good, convenient stay.
Pros: Some great features to the room. Solid wood used in furnishings and some great farm touches. Comfy bed. Cons: Not clean (the floor) Not a real breakfast, could easily add some low maintenance fruit (bananas, tangerines) and yoghurts. Only bread and rice crispies and some porridge sachets were available.
