near for what we wanted, good size carpark , nice room and food was good
Pros: Nice well persented hotel/pub. Food good, staff efficient and helpful. Parking good. Cons: room was hot and noisy

Fills the gap between "affordable" and "utterly bonkers" in the increasingly rarified Cotswolds
Pros: Lovely receptionist and generally very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. In general, the hotel needs a facelift but it does have character and the beer garden at the front has the most spectacular view across the valley to The Malverns and the Welsh Mountains. Despite being 100% occupied, it didn't feel like it. Seems to have tempered slapping on £'s to cover "Cotswold Inflation" which is rare. Cons: I know it's been hot recently but...reception was like walking into a furnace (no opening windows and no blinds and no aircon) curtains in bedrooms not sufficient to keep

Pros: Very good not quite a full English as one would expect but plenty of choice Cons: Tea and coffee in the bedroom not stocked up daily
