Quirky, cute cottage that felt comfortable and welcoming

Pros: Rosedale cottage is a quiet home that is surrounded by a jungle of a garden (positive). Keith (the owner and lovely host) gave us a wonderful tour of the place, including all amenities and the sights to see in the grounds. we arrived rather late in the day but Keith was gracious and welcoming. Cons: On each side of the property, there were works going on, so the route to the cottage was a little hard to find. thankfully Keith had equipped us with a detailed set of instructions which led us right to the front gate.

A relaxing haven.

Pros: Charming period cottage accommodation. Wonderful garden to relax in to spot hedgehogs and squirrels. This is my 4th stay - the host is friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended Cons: Close to a busy road - but you’d never know.
