Perfect for our short visit to Vancouver

Pros: Vivien was a very pleasant host and made us feel welcome. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Location was great for proximity to airport and walking distance to food options. Cons: An early check-in had been confirmed by Royalty B and B but there was no one at the house when we arrived and we had to wait for someone to arrive and then wait some more for our room to be made ready. After an overnight flight of 8.5 hours, this wasn’t ideal.

Pros: Beautifully decorated, the winding staircase, bed was very comfortable, hostess was very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, I felt safe and at ease Cons: Nothing

Rude hostess. Additional charges that weren't listed at the time of booking

Pros: We could make coffee in the kitchen. There was an open carton of sour milk in the fridge, but we also found an unopened carton of milk that wasn't too old. The room and bathroom were clean. Cons: The hostess was extremely rude. We weren't allowed to bring our suitcase into our room because there might be bedbugs in it. The suitcase had to be left at the entrance for at least an hour before we were allowed to bring it into the room. Our flight was delayed, and we had to pay a $30 late fee and a $20 cleaning fee.
