We had a suite, which was perfect for our family of five
We had a suite, which was perfect for our family of five. The location was great, a short walk from Nagoya station, so we could easily use it as a base for daytrips out of Nagoya (Ghibli park and the Nakasendo). They also provided a free shuttle bus to the station, which was handy when we checked out. The highlight were the breakfasts, which had an extraordinary array of amazing Japanese food. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

A good experience - a bit expensive for one night for two people
Pros: The room was a suite in the traditional Japanese style (Ryokan), with tatami mat floors the need to leave shoes at the door, etc. For a traditional layout, the bathroom was modern and fully stocked.
Cons: There wasn't a breakfast option. Our stay was short to enjoy the room - one night only.

Pros: This place was exceptional, at least staying in the room with no number, a suite, Japanese style
Pros: This place was exceptional, at least staying in the room with no number, a suite, Japanese style. The staff were great. The onsen was great! Breakfast was actually amazing, and quite the surprise! Shame only stayed one night, it was just a treat as part of travelling around.
Cons: There's nothing really immediately around this place to go and look at it's all east of the station. But an Uber can get you somewhere quickly.

Stupendo
