great location, basic but comfortable room
Pros: great location, in a very pleasant residential neighborhood. The hotel is simple, the room basic but with everything you need, very comfortable bed. Cons: the window frames need fixing, and the glass needs a good clean!
Overnight stay so did what we needed. Good location to see Glasgow and good on a budget
Pros: Very good location in town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cons: We were on the top floor so getting luggage up 4 flights of stairs was an effort. Top floor was also warm so a fan would be super handy.
Perfect for gigs at SECC/Hydro or exploring the West end.
Pros: We were in Glasgow for the Metallica gig at Hampden so ended up at the Sandyford for 5 hours before the first train home in the morning. We missed the breakfast, but the room was just what we needed (ensuite bathroom, plenty of room etc) and the staff were great... I'll happily to use the Sandyford again. Cons: I would have liked the breakfast but that was on us not the Sandyford!

Pros: It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Cons: It does not have a lift. Carrying the luggage up the stairs was very challenging. Also, the bed did not have side tables
