Seaview Holidays - Salterns Village

Lovely stay, couldn't fault the friendliness or cleanliness and the location to beach was great!

Pros: Cleanliness of the propery and fully kitted out kitchen. Plenty of storage for beach things and balcony on both sides of property was helpful to chase the sun (or shade). Reception staff always happy to help. Quick to get to the beach and the other side of the nature reserve. Cons: Although advertised as small bedrooms, we didn't anticipate just how snug they would be. It was impossible to have a travel cot in either bedroom to be next to our little one (take a baby monitor). Large step out of the property and gravel road made it difficult to use a pushchair. First time visiting the Isle Of Wight. We had a wonderful week and thoroughly enjoyed the island.

Pros: Seaview is a lovely part of the island and Salterns Village is in a great location for short walks to the sea front and local village. It's also a great base for exploring the rest of the island. Saltern Village is extremely clean and well kept and the staff are all very friendly too. Cons: The 2 bed accommodation was a little small and cramped for me personally, although it was great value for money. When we return, we will pay more for one of the larger properties just for the extra comfort.

Amazing

Pros: We had an issue with the bed, and it was sorted straight away. Very good response from the staff. Good unit, with everything we needed (except a hairdryer). Plenty of space. Very clean. Cons: It was quite noisy. Gangs of kids running accross our decking (I guess avoid school holidays!). Also a neighbouring unit had a very loud party on Saturday night.

Super location - but rather hot!

Pros: Great location and good space Cons: It was very hot and there were no fans in the property making it hard to sleep
