Fabulous accommodation, so close to all the action

Fabulous accommodation, so close to all the action. We chose this location because of its proximity (and easy public transport) to the Hordern Pavilion (for TISM in case you're wondering) and it is so close and convenient. We walked home from the venue, super quick and we walked into the city several times. The noise from the bar ends around midnight, although it never really bothered us. And although the rooms are dated, they are just stunning - lots of dark carpet and old furniture, but new mattress and aircon that works a treat. Shared bathrooms but there are two so there was never an issue

The folks managing this property are great people

The folks managing this property are great people. But the property itself is very old. The shared bathroom aren't kept clean by other fellow residents. Not all things work in the room itself.

Great location and easy to find your way around Sydney CBD. Noisy until 12pm (unbearably loud) and the room is musky, dated, and spartan.

‘Heritage’ means completely unrenovated and in dire need of redecoration and repair

‘Heritage’ means completely unrenovated and in dire need of redecoration and repair. Fortunately the bed was very comfortable, the room quiet and plenty of hot water in the shared bathroom. It’s a great pub by the way, including really good food.
