Lovely hotel in a quiet location and close to what I needed.
Pros: Renovated hotel with good and new facilities, very kind and friendly staff, large rooms, good beds and showers, fast and plentiful elevators. Excellent location for those needing to go to Harvard, quiet. Cons: Only the high price of breakfast.
The Sheraton Commander was a lovely location from which to enjoy Cambridge!
Pros: I think the hotel is lovely. The breakfast was good, though I would have preferred an actual menu with more variety than the buffet. Cons: The room air conditioning was set at 68 degrees. It was too warm for sleeping. Neither my husband nor I slept well because of that.
The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was quiet, clean, and easy to access.
Pros: Good location in Harvard Square neighborhood Cons: This is nitpicking, but the drinking glasses in my room were very soft plastic - hard to hold - why not glass? Everything else is pretty classy.
