Pros: Large hotel in an excellent location for all the city centre highlights. Easy walk to castle and Royal mile. Close to Princes Street, trams and buses. Fabulous breakfast. Spotless room. I'm house restaurant very good which we've found not to be the case elsewhere. Staff very attentive. Cons: The ensuite bathroom is a glass enclosure that doesn't have doors that actually shut. So you get to hear and smell everything that goes on in there. We've been married 28 years but some things should not be shared. Whoever thinks these fancy glass ensuites are a good idea should be made to live with

Great city overpriced hotel

Pros: The breakfast was very good, spa was ok part of It closed the whirlpool outside is good although if u stay you have to pay for the spa usually we got discount as parts of it were getting fixed the other hotels I’ve stayed in their spa facilities are included especially 5* hotels ..staff attentive we had a problem in the room and they fixed it straight away my wife had a faulty charger and it blew the room the staff couldn’t have been quicker and more attentive they sorted straight away manager and all was up in the room very impressed with that service made sure everything was safe and w
