Beloved

Pros: Very well located (very very well) fairly quiet area and well served 6 min walk from Victoria station. Comfortable bed Cons: Poorly soundproofed! My room was city side and you could really hear everything, the window didn't close very well. We could feel the air passing through...

Staff need training?

Cons: Approx 6 months ago booked a room with balcony which did cost us more than the other rooms. We got there yesterday and they gave us our room key and we went into our room. There's no balcony, so I went back to the desk with my email proof that I booked a balcony room and she said well there's guests staying in there long term so they just moved us into a nasty grotty back room and she said there was no difference in price... It was dark and horrible and it's not what I paid for, there was a difference in price and I paid more for the balcony room. I said to her, why couldn't someone have

No hot water

Pros: About the location. Cons: Unfriendly staff, dirty bathroom when we arrived, we had no hot water during the 4 days we were there and we were not refunded anything, little availability to solve the water problem, room a bit small for 4 people, the room where we stayed was on the top floor and it was very hot

Filthy. Mould everywhere. In disrepair. Lots of damage. Rude female staff at front desk. Purposefully provide the wrong

Pros: The location. Cons: Everything else apart from the location.

Nice hotel in a quiet area close to transportation

Pros: Great location in a quiet area. Close to Victoria Coach station, the train station, and the subway made it perfect for getting around the city. Grocery stores nearby, etc. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a nice newly renovated apartment instead of a family room. Perfect for having breakfast at home. Cons: We did not get any cleaning of the apartment. Maybe it was because we were upgraded to an apartment instead of the family room? But it would have been nice if cleaning had been included 🙂
