We attended an event at the Karlshorst harness racing track in Berlin. The location of Smartments was ideal, right next to the S-Bahn and close to the racecourse. Great access to tourist hotspots, some nice restaurants nearby, nice room, spacious bathroom - everything was TOP for us.
Price-performance ratio does not match.
Pros: The location of the house is good. Nearby you can find the S-Bahn station and numerous shopping opportunities. Check-in was uncomplicated and quick. Questions are answered immediately via AI on WhatsApp. Cons: No staff. The accommodation feels soulless and deserted. Our room was prepared for 1 person, although it was booked for 1 adult and 1 child. Pillows, duvet, and towels were missing accordingly. The room is not air-conditioned. You have the choice to 'suffocate' at 28 degrees room temperature at night with the window closed or simply not to sleep with the window open due to the nois

Pros: Convenient transportation location, enthusiastic staff. Cons: Cleaning is done once a week. For my one-week reservation, no one cleaned the room during the stay. The room does not have air conditioning.
