Lovely hotel in Kyoto. Our garden room was very nice with a modern feel. Staff all very helpful. Happy for us to leave our cases on our last to day and collect later. Very close to metro stations, restaurants and bars. Easy walk to many areas including Nishiki market, Imperial Palace and across the bridge to Yasaka and Sannenzaka. Would definitely stay again.

Overpriced for the type of hotel. Beds are not very comfy, pillows were bad, wifi in basement rooms was awful. The price they charged us (+500/night) was too much for the quality. They charged like a 5 star while being a 3 star tops.
I liked this property a lot. Convenient location for food and transportation. I could've lived in the basement garden bathroom. Luxurious beyond words. The AC was a bit finicky, but really a non factor. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Our stay was absolutely phenomenal and truly elevated our entire trip to Kyoto. From its stunning design to its impeccable service, every aspect of this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is, without a doubt, a 10 out of 10. Situated directly on the banks of the beautiful Kamo River, the hotel offers a tranquil escape while being just steps away from the heart of the action.
