Stansted Coach House - Apartment Hotel

Perfect hosts.

Pros: The owners Rachel and Matt went above and beyond what I expected. While I was staying at the property, I suffered a health emergency and had to be submitted to hospital. This meant that I couldn't check out and remove my belongings at the scheduled time. Rachel and Matt packed up my belongings for me and held onto them until I was ready to collect them. Thank you Rachel and Matt and their son Josh for being so understanding and helpful. Cons: There wasn't anything which could have been better.

Location. Cleanliness. Friendly owners. During a heatwave they had set the air con ready for a perfectly cool room.

Pros: Really well thought out space, smelt fantastic, decor was tastefully neutral and not over the top. The mini bar is well stocked with snacks and drinks and was a nice touch, rare in apartments. All the appliances you would need were there too. Beds were also spacious and comfy couldn't have asked for a better space. If you are catching a flight from Stansted and need a place the night before the flight, this is the perfect spot. The hosts were exceptional and extremely kind to me and my family. Ideal for a short stopover before catching a flight.

Pros: We used the accommodation for a short 1-day stopover before catching a flight early next morning. We found the space very clean and tidy, good communication with the host and very convenient for Stansted. Also had lots of kitchen facilities for such a small space, fine for making a small family meal. Short walk to shop and playground across the road for the kids. Cons: One minor comment rather than criticism. The space is so clean and tidy with white walls, carpet, and bedding, you are nervous to make a mess when traveling with two young children. Pros: Quiet, safe area. Clean and modern. Lots of thoughtful touches and amenities and a lovely, helpful owner. Cons: Nothing. Please be mindful there are stairs to the property; however, this wasn’t an issue for us.
