Well positioned 1-bedroom house in Nether Edge with excellent self-catering facilities + parking

Pros: The 'Hidden Gem' property is a 1-bedroom (small) house in a converted building with a parking space outside the accommodation. Instructions for access and how to use the heating / hot water / wi-fi etc (and where to park and dispose of rubbish on departure), were both timely and clear / excellent. Facilities were good too - any time I looked for something I found it ! The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had a TV + thick curtains to block out the light, important for me as I am a light sleeper. A convenient place to stay if visiting Sheffield. Cosy but comfortable.

Pros: It was cosy and compact with off street free parking. It was convenient for staying in Sheffield. It served the purpose for what we needed. Communication with the Stay Angels was good. Had a tea pot! Shower was good. Bed was comfy. Neighbourhood was quiet with the lovely sound of an owl in the evenings! Cons: Sofa wasn’t the most comfy, but was OK. A bigger saucepan would have been helpful for cooking our filled pasta - we cooked it in two goes. It was a bit cold when we first arrived, but once we had worked out the heating it soon warmed up. Great place, well equipped, would love to stay there again.

Pros: Was perfect for our needs. Nice quiet residential area, walkable to supermarket, good location for us to access the venues we needed to visit. Property well equipped with everything we needed. Cons: We arrived late at night in the dark and while the address was easy to find on Satnav, the house itself is quite hidden around the back of the main house and was a little difficult to find. Once found though, everything was easy after that.
