Stay Central Hotel

Pros: Location Cons: Breakfast wasn’t enough hot food waiting

This is a friendly basic hotel near the Royal Mile with everything you need at a reasonable price.

Pros: We requested a room on the quieter side of the hotel, it being fairly central. We could hear almost nothing of the Edinburgh revelries, so we’re well satisfied. The room was comfortable and warm and air conditioned. Plenty of clean towels and a heated towel rail. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the beds comfortable. We didn’t have a breakfast deal, but could see that the breakfast people were eating looked substantial. We would readily stay there again. Cons: The shower was roomy, but rather slippery, so a rubber mat would have been a welcome addition.

Pros: De locatie in old town, heel centraal Cons: Dat we door een open lucht disco naar onze kamer moesten, was heel druk en moesten door de dansende menigte en hoorden de muziek op de kamer
