Staycity Aparthotels Dublin Castle

Great location

Pros: Location was great. Easy walk to Trinity college, Stephen's park, and many pubs and restaurants. Nice to have a guest laundry on site (although only 1 washer and 1 dryer). Cons: Female staff were quite unfriendly. Rooms are small and have little to no storage or hanging space. Although I had booked a 4 night stay, I was not given any leeway when we arrived early (to return a rental car). The additional fee was not substantial but it was annoying to have no accommodations offered.

Nice hotel in a great location

Pros: We loved it here! You're very close to everything. Just blocks from St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christchurch and Dublinia and a short walk to Dublin Castle, the Temple Bar area and St. Stephen's Green and lots of shops and restaurants. The room itself had a large bed, a table and chairs and small kitchen area. The decor was bright and modern. The free washer and dryer in the basement worked well so that was a plus. Breakfast was an extra charge so we ate elsewhere or brought in groceries. Cons: It was all good!

A peaceful, comfortable, pleasant stay in a convenient area where the staff went out of their way to help the guests.

Pros: The staff were exceptionally nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was quiet. Never heard any noise. Also very clean, modern and security conscious. A special thank you to the exceptional Ukrainian receptionist who went to great lengths to get us a taxi on time for our train as taxis weren’t eager to negotiate the area near Dublin Castle due to activities there related to Ireland’s presidency of the European Union— a temporary problem unrelated to Stay City Dublin Castle. She succeeded despite great odds. Quite a treasure for Stay City! Cons: The room was a bit small, especially the

Pros: All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location is good. Room very clean. Cons: The price is far higher than advertised and doesn’t match what was originally stated.
