Cockroaches and dust under the beds

Pros: The neighbourhood was okay. It was possible to take public transit to Boston city, after a 15 min walk from the house. The interior was okay too. Cons: The apartment looked clean at a first glance, but when turning on the light at night in the kitchen a small red cockroach ran along the sink and down in the space below the bench and the stove. Then another cockroach ran over the floor in the hall and under a door. Next night a cockroach ran out from under the bed in the smallest bedroom where there was no air-conditioning. We guessed it preferred that room, since it was warmer than

Pros: Location is great, accomodation is nice and kitchen well equiped. Owner is reactive and communication was easy. But deposit was the issue. Cons: You need a US bank account to pay the deposit (500USD). Blocking point for foreigners. You need to claim back the deposit (after waiting 1 week).

Pros: The number of beds and the easy going owner Cons: Full sleep options available, adding a small washroom or toilet beside the main room would be a great improvement.
