Pros: First of all, the peace of the resort, the gardens, the trees, the birdsong, everything was wonderful, I loved it, words can't describe it. Pros: We recently stayed at Sugar Cane Hotel and Spa in Barbados. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful, the view over the garden/jungle is stunning, and seeing monkeys from your balcony is truly special. Cons: Unfortunately, the service experience was very inconsistent. Staff were either very friendly or extremely unfriendly, there was no middle ground. The woman at reception, in particular, was shockingly unhelpful and unfriendly. We have honestly never experienced anything like it. Rooms and towels are not cleaned or refreshed daily, and when we asked for clean towels, we were told we

Pros: Mostly everything about the place, especially how proactive the staff are! Cons: The bathroom could have been cleaner and more pleasant to the smell upon checking in. They should have better linens available to capture the excess water which easily escapes the shower stalls during showers.
