Location
Great stay, great people, but the beds…
Great location and rooms, although the bed needs updating. It’s basically a king topper thrown on two full-size mattresses and not great at all. Front desk and service staff all top-notch. Especially Rob and Fabrizio up front, great characters and very helpful! No lobby to speak of which takes a lot away from the luxury feeling of coming in and out. But a lovely place.
Nice hotel that misses the mark
Pros: The location is great, the room itself was a good size (I had booked a suite with a balcony), zero noise coming from adjoining rooms, and the breakfast was great. Decor was nicely done. Staff were professional and polite when coming through the lobby or making inquiries at reception (not always guaranteed in Amsterdam). Elevator requires keycard to get access to upper floors. Bathroom in the suite was very nicely finished and loved the rainfall shower. Cons: While the balcony has an amazing view, it’s deceptively small and its actual size is not shown in photos, deliberately no doubt. Yo
