This place looks terrific inside and out. Rooms and public areas are tastefully furnished and decorated to a very high standard. A fantastic mixture of modern touches and traditional materials. Amazing attention to detail in everything. Delicious breakfast.

Very cold room.
I checked into this hotel late on a Saturday afternoon. It was a very cold January day. I paid for a superior room in the main building, up several flights of stairs and a very steep narrow staircase, there is no lift. The room was up in the attic under the eves. The room was freezing as the heating had been turned off. I managed to turn the radiator in the bathroom and the single one in the large room on, to little effect. I was suffering from a very bad cold so was looking forward to being tucked up in a warm room. When the receptionist happen to knock on my door I asked him if he could do a
