Our stay at Thames Head Wharf was truly heartwarming
Our stay at Thames Head Wharf was truly heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, Chris and Ann made us feel welcome, but Ann’s kindness is something we will carry with us. She looked after us with such genuine care, always thoughtful and incredibly attentive — especially towards my pregnant partner. Her sensitivity and the way she anticipated every need made us feel safe, supported, and deeply appreciated during a very special moment in our lives.
The room was peaceful, spotless, and beautifully kept, but what makes this place unforgettable is the warmth behind it. You don’t just stay here —

Beautiful place that is centrally located.
Fascinating to stay in a place that is almost 250 years old. They've done a great job building in modern conveniences without taking away the charm. The hosts were super! Offering breakfast would be even more of a draw as one must walk (about 15-20 minutes) or drive to the closest cafe. However, coffee, tea, water, and snacks right in the room was most convenient.

Relaxing place with a great view
Pros: The super friendly owner made sure everything was just perfect for us. Lots of complementary stuff in the room.
We enjoyed sitting in the garden, watching deer roaming around.

The property is stunning and clean. Our room has beautiful views and Ann was so lovely. We had loads of goodies in our room and were made so welcome.
