The Angel Hotel

Pros: Staff were great, brilliant location Cons: Stained towel

Old style faded grandeur in good location centrally.

Pros: This hotel has faded grandeur.Really someone should paint it by now it needs it.But the grandeur is still there and I like the old style the way it is.I stayed here with family many years ago and nothing has changed. They do need to get air con for the summer.Otherwise all good. Cons: Air con.Air con.Air con.No clue why they dont upgrade to that as in summer rooms too hot.

Better than it looks from outside

Pros: Very quiet room Cons: N/A

Pleasant stay, with lovely staff.

Pros: Nice hotel in a great situation, near to the castle and the main shops etc. Hotel is quite old and rooms could do with a little TLC. Staff were lovely and helpful. Cons: Room was a little chilly and we didnt find the radiator/heater until the next day when we were leaving!! . Breakfast was good but service a little slow when topping up dishes!!

Great value and location. Lovely big room with great breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Good value, big rooms, great view of the castle. Cons: It is a bit old fashioned/ musty.
