Quirky comfortable hotel at a reasonable price but eat out for breakfast
Pros: Quirky decoration in rooms with retaintion of period features such as the fireplaces Cons: we paid for a breakfast tha had poor service and was not exceptional

Beautifully clean, lovely hospitality
The location was ideal for city centre and university, room was beautifully clean with lovely little details such as the high quality bathroom products, little welcome letter and decor. Service was above and beyond helpful and friendly. Room airy and great view from breakfast room.

Pros: Fabulous room. Very clean & comfortable. Excellent location. Cons: Nothing!

A pleasant hotel in nice, green surroundings.
Pros: A very pleasant hotel with a nice green garden next to the bowling club (we were able to watch a croquet match right from the garden — an extra bonus). Quiet, clean, and close to the centre. Cons: It was a little bit chilly in the room because our radiators did not want to work.
